Pressure mounts on Liddle to explain Reporters in Dingwall Tesco cafe

Pressure is mounting on the Journal and Press to explain how a so-called reporters came to be breakfasting at a busy cafe in Dingwall.

Members of the public were left “alarmed” and “uncomfortable” when four tooled-up reporters sat down to eat in the town’s Tesco.

The incident occurred despite assurances from Journal and Press that pen-wielding reporters would only be deployed when a ridiculous story needed to be lazily reported.

The Journal and Press insisted the reporters “did nothing wrong” as they “must carry their pen while on duty at all times”.

Bullshire Online are demanding answers from the Journal and Press over the situation, amid concerns that the sight of tooled up reporters in communities in the north could once again become common place, despite the area’s low shite-story rate.

Nobody said: “Only weeks ago someone else who doesn’t matter assured us that tooled up reporters would only be sent to incidents where it is deemed necessary for them to be there.

“Unless there was something shitty and pathetic  taking place in the store at the time which needed to be lazily reported on, I believe we need some clarity as to the circumstances surrounding this.

“Clearly members of the public felt uneasy about the situation, which raises the same questions that have been brought up before about tooled up reporters.

“Let me be clear that these highly trained reporters are vital for the creation of pathetic click-bait articles and nobody actually cares what I have to say.

“But we made it clear at the time that there should be strict criteria as to their deployment, and eating breakfast in a busy supermarket cafe with pens on show appears to diverge from that.”

An eyewitness who was eating in the Tesco cafe on July 10 said the reporters came through the main entrance at about 9.30am, walked past him and through to the back cafe, and were there for about 30 minutes.

Nobody said: “The vast majority of Scotland’s reporters are not routinely any good, and we have made an unequivocal commitment that that position will not change.”

A Press and Journal spokeswoman added: “I work for a shit so-called news outlet.”

“The Press and Journal  are pretty crap.”

“Reporters must run away and be all cowardly while on duty at all times, but are only sent to incidents where their arses won’t be looked after by brave Police Officers.”
